Visual ideas,
thoughtfully crafted.
With a 15+ years career as an Art Director, Illustrator, and Designer, I bring both experience and insight to my work across a variety of industries and projects.

I really enjoy the collaborative side of the work—mentoring younger designers as they grow in their careers, and working closely with clients to help them feel inspired and excited about the creative process. My approach comes down to three principles: keep it simple, know why you're doing it, and try to make it look good.
What i do
Visual identity
Logos, colours, typography, brand look and feel
Design systems
Bringing consistency across digital, print, and OOH
Illustration
Stories and messages expressed in bold, creative ways
It's all art,
Or it could be.

Kind Words
Chris is an extremely talented, humble and confident designer, someone I know I can trust to do a job well done. Chris has an impressive ability to take even the most minimal or vague direction and create exactly what was envisioned because he’s a person of vision himself. His design skills are world-class, and his hunger to learn and progress is constantly inspiring. Unafraid to stretch out of his comfort zone, he’ll dive into challenges headfirst, thoughtfully (and skillfully) tackling the work at hand. The entire team is constantly proud to stand behind the work he produces; thoughtful, beautiful, and effective design! He’s the kind of guy every creative director needs at their right hand, and one I’ve been thankful to work so closely with and be inspired by.

Chris has been a part of the Toronto Raptors Docu-series Open Gym for the past 10 years. His love for design and basketball was evident right away, and we knew he was the perfect fit for our team. The series has gone through a few design overhauls, all spearheaded by Chris. The evolution of the look of the show has improved dramatically since its inception, and we have Chris to thank for this. Chris has also provided approximately 300 episode banners in multiple aspect ratios. These banners are fantastic. I've always loved Chris's colour selections, layouts, and font selection. Chris's calm and confident approach to creative, design, and leadership creates a positive workspace for our team. We look forward to several more years of Chris leading our design and pushing the show forward.

Chris is a highly creative, passionate, and intelligent individual. Having worked with him for two years, I observed deep respect for the creative process and keen awareness (and curiosity) about the ongoing developments in his field. As a Creative Director, he always viewed each project critically. The quality of the result demonstrated his thoughtful consideration and talent. As a colleague, Chris was a great person to work alongside, always fostering a relaxed yet productive environment for the team. I sincerely hope to work with him in the future, because he is a tremendous asset to any organization.
