Inspired by the last scene of the film in which Bodhi surfs the 50-year storm at Bells Beach and dies doing what he loves. Even though the waves in the film are massive and terrifying, I wanted these waves and the sky to look beautiful, pointing down towards him. I imagine this is what Bodhi would have seen looking out at them. I also wanted the colour scheme to reflect the vibrant neon colours of the 90s.
