Brand Identity &  Web Design

AbbVie Medical Corporation wanted to create a self-branded online guide to support individuals struggling with migraines. The first step in bringing this to life was developing a strong and cohesive brand identity that would serve as the foundation for the website. Working closely with the pharma team at Operatic Agency, we crafted a comprehensive brand platform that defined the narrative, tone, and key objectives of Migrainhelp.ca This platform ensured that every aspect of the project—from design to content—aligned with the needs of those seeking migraine relief.

With the platform in place, I focused on developing a visual identity that would communicate clarity, trust, and approachability. This included designing a logo that embodied the brand’s mission, selecting a colour palette that evoked a sense of calm and reassurance, and choosing fonts that prioritized readability. Additionally, I established a unique illustration style and curated imagery that would enhance the website’s accessibility and visual appeal. Every design element was carefully considered to ensure that Migrainhelp provided users with an inviting and informative experience.

The website design process began with a user journey exercise, followed by wireframing and, ultimately, the final design. The primary goal was to create a seamless experience that guided users through a journey of discovery, helping them explore effective treatment and management strategies for migraines.

While the final site wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned—I would have preferred more negative space and slightly smaller font sizes—the client was happy with the final result.
